AWESOME PLACE!
Old Town Square San Clemente is a historic part of old San Clemente! I've been coming here for many years because there's many awesome small businesses that have cool stuff and some of the best food in town! Los Patios is one of my favorite places to eat they have good food one of the best Taco Tuesday's around ! New Mandarin Garden is some of the best Chinese food I've had anywhere! They have a buffet on Sundays that is aways nice to to visit. Blue Danube is no longer at the plaza but I always had good times there putting on events in a building that previously served as the town jail. Hopefully we will be doing another event in the plaza soon! If your going to pay a visit and can't find parking inside the plaza drive across the plaza and park at the lot on Avenida Miramar there is often spots there. Have a good time!
History of the plaza!
On August 27th, 1928, the first fire house and city jail were erected on these premises. Later, the blacksmith shop was added, as well as the warehouse and maintenance shops. The municipal facilities were used until 1962, when a new civic center was built. These premises were continued to be utilized as a city maintenance yard until 1974.

THE BEST CHINESE FOOD EVER!
I was a salon owner back in the early 90's and never had time to cook myself dinner. I went to the New Mandarin Garden every day for dinner for 3 years. Now after over twenty years, I still enjoy this place out of all the Chinese restaurants I've been to in that time. Nancy and Jack have been more than wonderful to me in all of that time. I still come in and sit myself at my regular table and rarely have to change spots. I got hooked on the Sizzling rice soup and will include that in every meal. Sometimes as an appetizer and sometimes as a complete meal. For those first three years, they knew what I wanted when I walked in the door. I had them tweak the ingredients or brown the rice a bit more but when I sat down, it was hardly a few minutes would pass before once again, I would enjoy one of the BEST meals of my life. Over the years, I have probably turned on 63 or so people to this place that are now hooked as well. The quality of the food is impressively fresh. I have a hard time getting ginger sauce at any other Chinese restaurant but they serve the most delicious and fresh sauce I've ever had. Of course I am a fan for life. The way I'm treated and the food quality is unsurpassed.

AWSOME CALIANTRO BEEF!
The New Mandarin Garden Chinese Food is awesome...service is friendly. Cilantro beef is so tender and tastey. There is a lot of cilantro on top so you need to be a cilantro lover. Best hot mustard Ive ever eaten...

TEQUILA CHICKEN WINGS ARE FANTASTIC!
At Los Patios Mexican Food we ordered meals for delivery, and everything was really good. The Tequila Chicken Wings are fantastic, be sure to get some. There was a small mistake on the order, and the delivery person phoned-in the remedy, and returned ten minutes later with the correction. Completely recommend this place....

GREAT CHIPS AND SALSA W/ CHICKEN TACOS
Los Patios is just a friendly little whole in the wall restaurant hidden in the old SC Jail complex. Great chips and salsa, friendly service and fresh made chicken tacos just the way I love them.
Try to make it on a Tues. With any beverage purchase Tacos are only $1.00.
I have also had the seafood tostada. Very Good!

TACO TUESDAY AT OLD TOWN ROCKS!
Not to be confused with EL PATIO, LOS PATIOS this small mexican food place is killer! Taco Tuesday is usually packed, but well worth the wait with $1.00 tacos that are insane. Great chips and salsa, and the Los Patios Amber Ale is awesome as well.

DEFINETELY BE BACK ON TACO TUESDAY!
Los Patios I've been coming here for years! They have one of the best salsas I've ever had and the awards they have just proves I'm not the only one who loves it! The owner Carlos is a really nice guy always friendly and quick to serve you. When I go here I always get the Los Patios Amber to drink its like their own craft beer that reminds me of a better Dos XX. As for food it varies to what i feel like this most recent visit I ordered a chicken burrito wet it comes with red sauce on top and filled with chicken beans rice and lots of sauce all over it quite delicious! They are also very accommodating to ones order my friend asked if they could make her carne Asada fries even though they weren't on the menu it was not a problem great service nice people and delicious food! We will definitely be back sometime soon! Their $1 Taco Tuesday is calling my name!

I LOVE BEST OF BREAKFAST!
This breakfast place is the best. I just love Norm. Very friendly and caring. Before it was Adele's and Now it is Best of Breakfast. My favorite is the Monster Pancakes but my husband just loves the biscuits and gravy. My kids love eating there too. You know it is good when they beg and beg to go back for the mousey pancakes.

HAD THE BEST RETIREMENT PARTY!
Had the best retirement party for my Husband at the San Clemente Event Center. Beautiful place and room. Moments to Remember Forever! They gave us all day to decorate. It was wonderful!
